Welcome! As Head of Komodo National Park (KNP), it is my great pleasure to communicate world wide through this website. The website will make it possible for us to update the information about the national park all the time. In this first occasion, I would like to inform any activities both in the past and in the future conducted by Komodo National Park. Actually, the information presented in this website is the essence of 25 years KNP management plan which have been approved by Directorate General Protection and Nature Conservation in July 2000. The management plan can be downloaded from this website. Hopefully this website will increase any parties awareness about the challenges conserving Komodo National Park for future generations. In addition, I hope this will be an effective tool to enhance people's participation in maintaining ecosystems and biodiversity within KNP. Finally, I would like to thank and express appreciation to all who contributed to this website.
